Andrew Flick

Andrew C. Flick received his B.A. in Chemistry from Lake Forest College and his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Emory University, where he trained with Prof. Albert Padwa. He began his industrial career at Pfizer, advancing drug discovery programs across the Neuroscience, Rare Disease, and Inflammation & Immunology therapeutic areas, including the discovery of PF-06763809—a clinical candidate RORc2 inverse agonist topical therapy for psoriasis—and PF-07054894 an orally bioavailable CCR6 antagonist which was a clinical candidate for the treatment of ulcerative colitis. He subsequently joined Takeda’s Gastroenterology Drug Discovery Unit, where he led antifibrotic programs spanning several targets, including selective integrin inhibitors for the treatment liver fibrosis. Andy is currently Director of Chemistry at Genesis Therapeutics and an author or inventor on more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and 7 patents.
