Dr. Hong Zhou is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at UCLA Health Sciences and the founding director of the Electron Imaging Center for NanoMachines (EICN) at CNSI. He is an expert in structural biology and cryo-electron microscopy, combining advanced imaging, computational biology, and AI-powered tools to reveal molecular architecture and dynamics at near-atomic resolution. His work focuses on leveraging cutting-edge structural techniques to advance our understanding of cellular machinery and complex biological systems, driving innovations in both fundamental biology and translational applications.
