Sumeet Salaniwal is Senior Director of Computational Chemistry and Cheminformatics at Lyterian Therapeutics, where he leads the application of computational approaches to drug discovery. With more than two decades of experience spanning biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and software development, he has built and led computational chemistry, cheminformatics, and structure-based drug design teams at ORIC Pharmaceuticals, Olema Oncology, Kinnate Biopharma, and Sanford Burnham Prebys. Throughout his career, Sumeet has advanced multiple oncology programs from hit discovery through development candidate nomination, while pioneering the integration of AI, cheminformatics, structural biology, and medicinal chemistry to accelerate lead optimization and therapeutic innovation.
